Postal code and route mapping in Canada is a little different from that of the States. In fact, they are undergoing a change in the way they handle their street addresses. One example of this, is in the Burlington area. Most of this area is a part of Rural Route #2 Milton, and Rural Route #6 Milton, and then still Rural Route #3 Campbellville for their mail delivery.

But, while this is true, these areas all still have an address that is a Burlington street address. This fact has caused many to suffer having their mail incorrectly reflect them living in the wrong location. It has made delivery very difficult and confusing. It has also been the cause of loss of access to emergency services. So they decided to change the postal identifier to Burlington so the rural areas will get the same type of mail delivery as everyone else in Burlington.

They began the process of fixing this problem in 2005. Local counselors and Parliament members met with people from the Canada Post and work on a solution to this confusing problem. They had to create brand new postal codes for the rural areas within the Burlington system. Their proposal for their solution did not get approved until 2009.

It appears that there has been a drop in consumer confidence in the building and construction industry recently. This may be because of the scams highlighted on television or the bribery and corruption endemic in the corporate sector, but it is almost certainly the same motivation why so many are now doing home improvements by themselves.

Why not? A little knowledge of the technical aspects combined with an eye for creativity is often enough to accomplish the home improvement on your own.

Why are people turning to DIY home improvements?

There are many people attempting to pass themselves off as construction workers, although they do not have a lot of experience in construction or home maintenance and they are literally are out there right now practising, learning their trades on homes like yours and mine around the country.

As a result, homeowners are finding that the jobs are not being finished to their liking. At times they are even pre-paying for services that do not get done or were not part of the arrangement.

You do not have to rely on and pay someone to enhance your home. Why not have a go yourself?

The hand held bug killer is the best way of ridding the space around you of insects, especially the flying ones like mosquitoes. The electric bug killer vaporizes any insect from a mosquito to a gnat instantaneously on contact with a nice, loud, electrical ‘zap’!

However, this is not to say that the electric bug killer cannot be used outside, as long as it is not raining. It should be treated like any other high voltage electrical equipment. Keep the indoor bug zapper dry and definitely do not use it while you are standing in the pool!

Models vary greatly, but there are basically only two types of indoor insect killer: the battery operated bug zapper and the rechargeable electric bug zapper. Both are equally effective at zapping insects and work on the same principle.

The indoor bug killer looks like a ‘kids’ tennis racquet, but with three layers of ’strings’, which are in fact wires. The innermost network of wires becomes live at the touch of a button while the other two grids, one on either side, are earths.
