Traveling is probably one of the most fantastic and exhilarating activities that you can do. The whole world is practically laid out before you, just waiting to be explored. And what’s even greater, no two places are exactly the same. It’s a whole new experience with every destination. But traveling can also be problematic, what with the preparations you have to do before you go. It is, therefore, of grave importance that you choose the most appropriate travel bags before you go. You cannot take your entire house with you, after all. And all your comforts have to be packed into a suitcase. It is only right that this suitcase be the best for you.
So, to help you pick, be sure to consider these various factors:
Material
The travel bag’s material is of extreme importance because this is what the bag’s longevity will depend on. Bags with metal frames may be the most durable of all, but they are also rather weighty. They will cost you a lot when you have them weighed at the airport and they will also be much weightier to lug around. There are materials today that are lightweight and yet strong, so be sure to choose these. The bag’s cloth type is also important. Be sure that the cloth does not tear quickly. If possible, find a bag that is water proof, as you don’t want your belongings soaked should you find yourself under the rain.
It is simply a lot of fun taking to the park trails, but over time you may get a bit weary. Those who are bored by simple trails may want to hit the rougher trails that will provide more of a challenge. This type of adventure presumes the ability to head into the wild for possibly several days at a time, but backpacking for a one day journey can still provide excitement. Depending on where the walk is going to take place and type of environment involved, it can be everything from a gratifying stroll to a challenging adventure. Astonishingly, Backpacking is all about this!
Backpacking is very unique than going for a hike. Hiking is usually considered for a day trip or for several days as part of a camping trip where hiking takes a unique direction each day, but typically ending up back at the camp at the end of every day. On the other hand, backpacking often demands heading out in one direction from a base camp, possibly even the home, and staying out for a day or more exploring new areas that are not accessed by vehicles.
India has always been popular with those backpacking because there’s lots to see. Just a few of the reasons to backpack there include: to enjoy yourself; to learn about a different way of life; to become more independent.
In the half a year that the majority of tourist visas permit you can travel intensely, and still feel as though you only saw a small part of what’s there. As a matter of fact, India is so huge that you could pass a number of years there and still not see half of it. There are Himalayan valleys, Hindu temples, Rajasthani palaces and forts, and tropical beaches. Keep a sense of adventure in mind though and don’t overly plan whilst at home; just make a short checklist of places to see and things to do.
Even though prices have risen slightly in the past few years and tourism in India is increasingly aimed in favor of the middle classes, it’s possible to stay in a bamboo hut on a beach for 100 Rupees per night (which is about $2). It’s also possible to eat in India for a few US Dollars per day. However, food is more expensive at restaurants that cater for foreigners and western food is always more expensive than Indian food.
